People come online on a journey to make sense of the noises out there, nowadays everyone has the power to share content online.

A lot of people won’t take the extra steps to the detective work of researching for information online. But what if there is a detective you trust, someone that establishes enough credibility to earn your trust. People like to listen to those who they trust, the people they agree with, we do this every day and often at times we tend to avoid meeting does who we don’t like in an online context we take the extra step to mute, unfollow or even block them because we don’t want to be associated with them.

You don’t need permission or a license from anyone to start sharing content online.

How to Build Expertise While Learning

  • The willingness to do the research, becoming the online detective. Read books, and articles, watch videos, attend a seminar, listen to podcasts, and talk to experts about the topic
  • The best content creators are those who are sharing genuinely without lying nor cooking up stories that are not logically validated or without any evidence.
  • Become the kind of person that wants to focus on helping people achieve their best potential. Because the main key to being a coach/mentor is not to answer all the questions your mentee has but to help them in the best possible way to achieve their best potential.
  • Find your minimum viable audience: The minimum viable people you can impact and help in the best possible way.
  • Treat imposter syndrome as an indication that you are doing important work that matters, not as a weakness because the funny thing is everyone has it.
  • If you are a young person you have a great advantage of starting early and growing with the audience. If you are not a young person you have a great advantage of sharing the knowledge you have acquired all those years with your audience.
  • Mistakes should be welcomes not dismissed.
  • You don’t have to figure it all out to start, share what you have figured out so far and keep learning while sharing what you have learned.
  • Do good work and put it out there, it doesn’t matter who you are, young or old, where you come from, your economic status low income, or wealthy. The internet doesn’t care. Do generous work.
